Wednesday break from the routine

Usually we have bible study on Thursday night, but this week we moved it up to Wednesday because the bible study hosts had some friends in town. We arrived tonight to be suprised by an impromptu , what was supposed to be a game night, which actually turned into a nice evening with church friends watching their tiny toddlers play in the living room and the moms in the room swapping horror stories about their labors and deliveries! Meanwhile newly pregnant me, is trying to remain calm! YIKES! LOL! With the little ones running around we never quite made it to the board games, but that's ok. They weren't missed. Honestly it was really nice just spending an hour and a half with our friends. No bible studying was accomplished, but it was still quality fellowship, and it felt productive to get to spend some relaxed fun time with these people that every other week we are deeply engaged in serious thought provoking discussions. I felt like we were able to connect with them on a different level than just the bible study level.

The dr's office called today and I don't get to have my first official OB appointment with my doc until May 3, 2011. Which will be at the end of my first trimester. It seems like a long time to wait to have my first appt, but everyone at work seemed to think it was normal; so I'm just going with it.
