So, you might have noticed that it's been a while since an entry. This was intentional. I couldn't just get on here and type about the weather, work, or the same old same old...not when WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!
We didn't want Allen's brothers and our sister in-laws to find out about the pregnancy online so I've stayed away from this blog because I had no idea what I could possibly even say, when the whole time sitting here at the computer I wanted to spill the beans.
Well the news is out! We found out on Sunday with two positive pregnancy tests and the dr's office confirmed it with the blood tests. For those of you who didn't know, (and please don't take it personally if you didn't know, most people didn't, it was one of those things we didn't really want to talk about...) we had a miscarriage in December right before Christmas. So, this time they got me in the office right away for the bloodwork to check my HCG levels, which were excellent by the way!
We're not exactly sure how far along we are, and won't know until I have a full appointment with my doctor, but based on my last cycle I think I am 5-6 weeks pregnant, which means a November baby. Just in time for the holidays!
Of course we are nervous because of losing our first pregnancy in December, but I feel really good about this pregnancy. I haven't had any of the warning signs I had last time and let me tell you what I feel pregnant!
Going foward this blog will continue to be an update of our lives in general, but I probably will spend some time blogging about my pregnancy too. I mean seriously, do you think I'm able to think of much else right now???? I have a million more things to say, but it's getting late, I'm very tired, and I have 9 months to talk about it, so for now this pregnant lady is headed to bed!
