Almost had it...

Well, we thought that Allen was going to get to move to second shift, but not yet. He was outbid by one girl who changed her mind last minute about what position she wanted, and of course she had more seniority over Allen. It must not have been meant to be. Meanwhile, he continues to watch the board at work for a second shift position.

My first ultrasound is scheduled for next Monday. I'm getting very excited. It will also be a relief for them to be able to actually see that everything is good so far. Everything feels good, but the confirmation on the screen will be nice. Of course by that time the baby will only be slightly bigger than an orange seed, but will still be viewable on an ultrasound.

I can't wait until we get to find out if the baby is a he or a she. I don't want to refer to our baby as "it", so I just keep saying "the baby" which is better than "it", but I can't wait to find out! I don't have any hunches yet. Maybe the hunches come later. Honestly either a boy or a girl would be wonderful, but I would like to have a little girl first. Who knows, maybe we will have both! :)
