This is NOT cereal! |

Mmm...peas! |

Do I get to eat this good stuff every day? |

Took this picture while she was being crazy eating her peas for dinner! |
Ok, so I'm a few days behind on updating the blog. We made a quick trip to Sturgeon on Friday which was a really great day. Sylvia got visit her great-grandma, and Grandma and Grandad watched her while we went into Columbia to spend the $50 gift card to babies-R-us I was sent by my insurance company. We spent a VERY long time in that store trying to figure out what to buy. In the end though, we did a really good job, and walked out of the store with a V-tech electronic jungle toy, two cases of babyfood storage containers, a bead teether, and a really neat book about colors for only $.10 out of our own pocket. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me!
Sunday was church, which we almost didn't make it to, Allen got hit by a bad headache Sunday morning. Then we had enchiladas at my Mom's house. We didn't stay for long after we ate though, because Sylvia was TIRED! Then the most wonderful thing happened. Sylvia went down for a nap at 3:30, Allen and I were so exhausted we laid down too, and the three of us took a two hour long nap! We woke up refreshed and ready to go to bible study. (Which has been moved to Sunday nights so that Allen can go too.) She was a hoot a bible study because she had a nap and a full belly she was in a really good mood through the whole thing.
Today was Sylvia's first experience with peas. The first picture is blurry because I laughed too hard when taking the picture...she was expecting the sweet cereal, and when it wasn't the cereal she was confused; but she quickly got over it and did enjoy her peas! We have to wait four days before we introduce a new food, but what will it be next? Applesauce? Bananas? Avacados? This is so exciting getting to watch our little try new things that we can't even remember being new to us.
