More hair!

Little Miss is getting more hair every day but she doesn't let Mommy to put bows in it very often.

Good check-up

Well, the dr said that Sylvia's perfect and that she had a mega growth spurt which we already knew!  At six months she was in the 25% weight wise and in the 50% height wise. Three months later, she is in the 75% weight wise and get this...the 88% height wise! Also her head circumference is in the 75%. (Big brain, yay! :) ) We asked the doctor if this meant Sylvia was overweight, and he said no.  That her height and weight are proportionate to each other and that she is healthy as can be. She weighs 20 lbs and 3 oz.  She is 28 3/4 inches long! She is a tall girl! So smart too! Today she was looking at her farm book at the horses page.  I said to her, "Sylvia, what do the horsies say? They say neigh neigh neigh."  And to Allen and my surprise, she repeated back to me "Neigh, neigh, neigh!" It was so stinkin cute! She is so stinkin cute! Today she and I went to Q-town with Michelle and baby Cohen.  We all four ate at Ruby Tuesdays' together and then we sent to TJ Max where I bought Sylvia a dress to wear to the wedding next weekend for $3.  It was a great deal! Sylvia and Cohen had fun sitting in the shopping carts.

UGH!

Well, yesterday there was no report on Sylvia's dr's visit because there was no visit! When the visit was rescheduled the girl said Monday at 10 a.m., assuming I knew not this Monday but next Monday. So we showed up for an appointment that we couldn't have because the doctor wasn't even in the office. :( We have to wait until next Monday to find out where our little cutie is at on the growth charts.  In the mean time, enjoy the cute pictures of her eating at dinner,  eating her apple, and looking out the window on the door.

The summer of weddings!

SHE'S A WILD GIRL!

Yesterday Sylvia and I went to my cousin Josh's wedding.  It was unique and wonderful, just like the couple.  Sylvia was pretty well behaved during the ceremony. She did throw one of her toys at the people in the pew in front of us in the middle of it, but that didn't cause to big of a commotion! The reception was fun, but Sylvia was pretty tired by the end.  Allen didn't get to go to the wedding because this weekend was a forced overtime weekend.  The money will be nice, but we sure have missed him this weekend.  I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who works so hard to take care of his family.

Tomorrow is Sylvia's nine month check up at the doctor's office! We can't wait to see where she is at on all the growth charts.  It's been three months since our last check up, so it will be good to make sure she is on track with everything.

Sylvia's wonderful sleep patterns continue. She did get up at 2:00 a.m. last night and stayed up for about half an hour, but then she slept til 9:30! I moved her bedtime back half an hour tonight.  It's such a wonderful change from the months before! Allen and I both feel like we've won the lottery every night she sleeps without issue and doesn't get up at 5:00 a.m.! :)

Back to the grind

Now, I have two cars! One at Grandma's house in Sturgeon, and one at Great-Grandmas!

Grandma, I love this story!

Last week was fun, but now it's back to the grind with Allen and I both back to work yesterday.  Sylvia had a great time at her Grandma and Grandad's in Sturgeon and is continuing to have a great time back home too! She has been in such a great mood.  It's impossible to stay in a bad mood around her.  Her pretty smiles are bigger than ever, her eyes are brighter than ever, she's jibber jabbering more than normal, and she is on the go go go! Sunday we discovered a new thing she can do.  Miss Sylvia Sue is now an accompished clapper! YES! She can clap her hands! It was so much fun that she went to bed Sunday night clapping her hands.  Speaking of bed, she's being an angel.  Last night we had a little mishap and she woke up at 3:00 a.m. wanting a bottle, but for the past four days she has slept from about 8:45 p.m to 8:00 a.m.! It's been amazing to get a solid chunk of interrupted sleep.  Let's hope she keeps it up. I'm just posting up a few really cute pics from the past week. Love you all!

Almost...

Last night Sylvia didn't sleep very well because of all the snot in her nose, but she did sleep in until 9:30a.m.! She was much better today.  Almost 90% better than yesterday.  She still has quite a bit of snot but no sneezing and no cough.  She was much more playful today and much less needy as compared to the past few days.
