Three day weekend starting tomorrow night! WOOT!

We are spending the weekend in the Ozarks at the Lake with two of our best friends Kate and Seth. Looking forward to getting away for the weekend. I hope the weather is nice. It looks like maybe a chance for rain on Saturday but nice for the rest of the weekend. Allen's vacation starts next week. I wish I had vacation with him, but oh no, to work I will go. :( Oh well.....in about 5 months I'm going to have about two months off from my employment. I don't want to say two months off from work, because as I understand it, it will just be the start of the main work for the next 18 to who knows how many years of my life!

I'm so excited about having a baby and so nervous at the same time I just can't decide which I am more!

I'm not really visably starting to show too much yet, but my body shape is changing a lot, and Shhh...don't tell anyone, but I haven't bought any maternity pants yet, sooo....I've just been unbuttoning my pants at work and wearing shirts long enough to cover it up. LOL! :) I'm just about to the point though to where I'm seriously going to have to go shopping for a few pairs of stretchy pants.

The nausea is gone. It has been replaced with heartburn, headaches and dizziness, both of which are very normal for pregnant women to experience. I will take all three of these "symptoms" over the nausea though. I'm so glad that's over! My energy has returned (even though I still get tired easily...) I have been feeling much better over all.

Allen has put in a bid for two different second shift positions. Maybe this week will be the week...keeping my fingers , toes, legs, arms, and eyes crossed. (Telepathically have asked baby C to cross their teeny tiny fingers too! )

Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Love you all!

15 weeks....

Awww...Monday again...

This weekend was a great weekend. Saturday Allen and I went to the farmer's market for some more onions and radishes. We also came home with some bokchoy, which neither one of us have ever tried, but it was cheap and something different so we're going to try it.

We ate breakfast at a cafe right off the park where they hold the farmer's market called Thyme Square Cafe. Everything they serve is fresh and comes from local famers. Farm fresh eggs, made from scratch biscuits, homemade gravy, fresh made sausage, even homemade ketchup! Oh, and homemade English muffins too! Soooo good. Five starts out of five stars and definately very nicely priced for the quality of food. We will absolutely be eating there again!

Sunday we went to church, which was awesome as always, and then we went fishing with Caleb. I said I would catch the first fish and I did! In fact I caught SEVEN fish! :) It was a lot of fun, but I was definately exhuasted when we made it home. So was Penny dog!

Despite the rain...

This weekend was wonderful. Saturday, Allen and I went to the first farmers' market of the year, in the rain, but we came home with garden fresh radishes, green onions, and asparagus. Then we ate breakfast together. After he caught some z's we went to the movies to watch the movie Thor and out to dinner. It was a wonderful day with my hubby, much needed after weeks of having every weekend booked full, we just spent a day together me and him. It was nice!

Sunday, church was amazing as always. Chuck preached a sermon about doing our jobs the best we can, not because we love what we do, but because we love who we do it for, which should always be our Lord. It was another one of those sermons that I want to bookmark because it's one I need to hear every now and then when my job starts to get to me.

I think that I'm finally starting to push through all of my tiredness and nausea from the end of my first trimester. I had a LOT more energy this weekend than I have had in a LOOOONNG time. (Which is even more suprising considering the nasty rainy weather. ) This morning, I waited to long to eat breakfast and ended up puking my guts out , but was ok as soon as I ate breakfast. Lesson learned....DO NOT WAIT TO FEED THE BABY! LOL!

Weekend is here!

Going to go to early breakfast with my hubby and then we are going to go to the first day of the 29th season of the Farmer's Market! I'm not sure there will be anything worth while there, but I'm excited!

Air is on!

Well, it was inevitable. Today matched the record high temperature....so our air is on. I hate to have it on so early but I also hate to feel like a roasting turkey. Which, by the way I said turkey instead of chicken because I'm starting to feel huge!

It looks like we are going to skip the nice spring time temperatures (save for this weekend, which was amazing...) and head right into summertime temperatures.

Everything looks good in there!

Baby C was face down and doesn't look much like a baby here, but when you flip the pic upside down...

And this is a pic when Baby C got camera shy and turned around....teeny tiny 12 week baby butt!

Doc said baby looks good! We got to hear a good strong heartbeat of 170 bpm, and I think it completely blew Allen's mind! It was so cute to see his face afterwards. They took not one or two, but FIVE vials of blood from me.

Big day!

Tomorrow is the big day for a few things:
It marks 12 weeks of pregnancy. Three months! In 6 months our family changes in a huge way! :)
It's the first big ob appointment where we get to make sure things are going as they are supposed to.
Allen is coming with me and it will be the first time he gets to hear the baby's heartbeat and we should get some more ultrasound pics of a more human looking baby! :)
